Twelve Extraordinary Women, by John Macarthur, takes you through the journey of some amazing, faithful women and how God used each of them for His redemptive work. Eve, Anna, Hannah, Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Jesus, to name but a few, are included and I found myself enlightened by their historical backgrounds; be they innocent, a drama queen or a prostitute, God’s grace reaches through their imperfections to bring out the best in each of these women. An encouraging book and highly recommended.
